About ZTE Nubia A36

Budget phones do not always need to feel like a compromise. The ZTE Nubia A36 sits right at the entry-level price point, yet it manages to pack in a big display, a dependable battery and clean modern software, all the things that actually matter for daily use.

The star of the show is the 6.75-inch HD+ display, running at a smooth 90Hz refresh rate that most phones twice the price still do not offer. Combined with ZTE's Live Island 2.0 feature for at-a-glance notifications, everyday interactions feel more polished than the price tag suggests.

Under the hood, the Unisoc T7200 chipset paired with 4GB RAM, which can stretch up to 12GB with virtual memory, keeps browsing, chatting, and light gaming running smoothly. The 5000mAh battery is built to comfortably carry you through a full day of calls, scrolling and streaming, and while the 10W charging is not the fastest, the large battery capacity more than makes up for it.

Photography covers the basics well with a 13MP rear camera and auxiliary lens for everyday shots, and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Add dual SIM support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, expandable storage and the latest Android 15 software, and the Nubia A36 stands out as a genuinely well-rounded pick for anyone shopping on a tight budget.
